The story of Camp Kindred 2 years ago, I had a dr The story of Camp Kindred

2 years ago, I had a dream of summer camp placed on my heart.

A place where kindred spirits can gather and connect, savoring the simple moments of what summer is all about!

Gathering, growing, life long friendships, learning, and fun! So much fun!

A place where we connect and grow together as friends, while also cultivating intention and joy in our own homes. Where our children get to experience what summer nostalgia and savoring the simple joys of the season is all about.

Sprinklers, ice cream floats, playing in the creek, summer books, popsicles, campfires, picnic baskets, lake docks, s’mores, beach days, iced cold lemonade, dinners surrounded by golden evening light…

The simple that brings us together creating memories that last a lifetime, that really aren’t the simple things at all!

A summer camp that gathers kindred mamas, while writing the stories of summer that our children will tell of when they are grown.

And this summer, that dream is taking place in a virtual summer camp!

Welcome to Camp Kindred!

Simplicity matters It is one of the most importan Simplicity matters

It is one of the most important things that we can cultivate in our home.

Simple is where connection is made, where gratitude is found, where the magic of the moment is held, and it is one of the greatest gifts the Lord gave us.

There is a reason that Jesus lived a slow & simple life.

We live in a culture that glorifies everything opposite of simple... but simple is where we thrive. Simple matters.

Did you know that scientifically, the human mind cannot have more than 3 decisions to make, before it becomes overwhelmed?

We start shutting down when we get overwhelmed, and it comes out in so many different areas: our emotions, health, sleep, behavior... so many areas of our life!

Did you know that on average each of us has to make over 35,000 decisions a day?

It’s all too much mentally, and satan is using it in so many ways against the home and family.

A slow & simple home will change future generations, and the legacy that we leave for them.

Let’s cultivate homes of intention, friend!

What areas of simplicity do you find the hardest for your home & family?
